Very reasonable price for seafood at a touristy location right smack in city centre. 3 big crabs at rm150 cooked with salted egg. Other dishes reasonably priced as well. Service is super efficient. If u booked a day before, they will reserve the table for you. Dishes served as soon as you let them know, literally in a few minutes. You just need to order what u want earlier. Well staffed, attentive, environment might be a bit hot, maybe noisy depends where you are seated. Must come for tourist and locals alike.
It was quite crowded. I came here with 11 friends and we had to make a reservation first. One table can fit 12 people but it may be a bit cramped. We ordered 8 dishes and all the food taste delicious except for the prawns, which are relatively bland compared to other stall like Ling Loong at TopSpot. For the food alone, we divided it equally and each of us had to pay around RM22, which is still okay. Would recommend to come try Bukit Mata, especially the oyster pancake.
I was thrilled when they agreed to serve just the ikan bakar sambal—something most places don’t offer. The sambal is simply amazing! All the other dishes were delicious too. The oyster omelette was a bit oily, and the portion seemed more suitable for 10 people rather than 8, just my two cents. But seriously, I can’t get over that ikan bakar sambal! Make sure to visit before nightfall to fully enjoy the experience. And yeah it’s also Halal!
This Topspot foodcourt is inside the UTC building. The food is awesome. I love all. Service is fast only around 15-20mins waiting time. For tourist must try the midin goreng belacan and pari bakar portugis. The price is affordable. 4pax eating approximately around RM150. Then we get the gula apong ice cream for dessert at Sam's Ice Cream. Near the entrance lift.
I was recommended by a local friend. The salted egg sauce was amazing. I would say it is the best restaurant in the Topspot food court in terms of prices and deliciousness.
Our to go stall in Top Spot. Stall 25 Bukit Mata. Probably the cheapest porkfree seafood in Malaysia. Don’t be afraid to ask for the price, better still go and choose the seafood at the counter. Try their simple ikan gonjeng goreng, oyster pancake, sea cucumber soup and sotong garam. For butter prawn with floss you have to explicitly tell them with floss as they have to order it from different kitchen. Otherwise it’ll be plain looking butter prawn which is a let down. Additionally you may indulge yourself with pricier menu of river prawn baked with cheese or steamed/salted egg mud crab.Ahh come early, like 05:30 pm early for dinner on weekend otherwise it’ll be too many people and it will spoil you experience and the cooking quality.

There are variety of seafood and vegetables to be chosen. The workers are attentive, quick to set up the table and take the order. The food is served fast and it is delicious (Chinese cooking style). Ordered the manichai vegetables cooked with eggs, clam (kerang), siput sedut, steamed prawns and white rice. The food was in reasonable price (RM 67.30).
